Right before the summer break, we don't stop investing and improve our production capability. We placed an order for a new heat treatment furnace, to optimize the corrosion resistance of the material of hot forged parts in CW602N alloy. This treatment allows the solubilization of the residual “beta” phase to make the material resistant to dezincification and ensure our customers products free from electrolytic corrosion.
This is our second furnace for this treatment, and in this case it will be equipped with automatic loading and unloading of the boxes and unmanned self-adjustment of the heating, treatment time and cooling phase. The installation is foreseen by the end of 2026.
